The Nuclear AMRC is dedicated to helping UK businesses become suppliers of choice to the global civil nuclear industry.
We have three key work programmes, underpinned by a range of business support initiatives:
- Manufacturing process R&D – working with the UK nuclear manufacturing supply chain to develop the technical capability to compete on cost, quality and time to delivery.
- Quality requirements – giving manufacturers clarity and knowledge on nuclear codes and standards, and helping them meet and exceed the requirements.
- Training & skills development – ensuring that the nuclear manufacturing supply chain has the skills required to compete in the global market.
The overall strategy and direction of all programmes are led by our members. This ensures that the Nuclear AMRC provides services of lasting value to businesses.
